I know you want to get rid of those hemorrhoids fast. They are painful and if irritated can be bleeding and are very uncomfortable. There are different remedies for treating hemorrhoids if they are in the state of thrombosis. I will discuss some of your alternatives. There are some home remedies that can be effective in relieving pain.
I would like to first discuss what hemorrhoids are and how you may have gotten them. Hemorrhoids are blood vessels in the anal canal. They are also referred to as piles. Hemorrhoids are also called vascular structures. They help with bowel movements. You may have internal hemorrhoids or external hemorrhoids and you can have both. With internal hemorrhoids you generally will have painless rectal bleeding. With external hemorrhoids there is pain and bleeding and that is in the area of the anus. External hemorrhoids you can feel. They will protrude out of the anus.
People who tend to be constipated have more of a problem with hemorrhoids. This is because they tend to push the hemorrhoids out when training. So, with this it is better to increase fiber intake and if not try a mild laxative or even other items that will give you a more loose stool. There are some over-the-counter products that can help with this. Check to be sure they are not addictive. Meaning that sometimes the bowel will not function properly if not given the laxative that it has gotten used to.
When trying to take care of external hemorrhoids it is advisable to purchase some cleaning wipes that are wet and moist. You can even use baby wipes. There are some wipes that contain aloe and vitamin E. After cleaning yourself with regular toilet tissue you can use these wipes to clean yourself easier as it does help the external hemorrhoids if there is no trace of bowel movement left on them. This is much easier on the hemorrhoids too. So, try to use either the disposable wipes or a wash cloth to clean the area. I also know that this may sound unusual but I have also been told that some people will take a plastic bag and turn it into a big panty-like cover for themselves and keep a cool, very cool wash cloth on the hemorrhoids and that looks to help. If you have the time take a nice cool rag and just place it on the hemorrhoids. This seems to relief pain quite quickly.
A sitz bath is really good for quick relief of hemorrhoids. You can purchase these for home use now at your local department stores. They just fit on the top of your toilet seat. If you do not have a sitz bath then just use your bathtub for now. Even if you have a large basin that would work. Either way a sitz bath is good for relief. When filling the water into the sitz bath you can use warm or cooler water. You can even alternate between the two. Whatever feels best for you. As for what to put in the water people have used baking soda or apple cider vinegar. Just plain water is okay to use too.
